As a Haitian worship leader and pastor at Centre de Vie (Center of Life) in Les Cayes, Haiti, Rivenson Dige has seen the power of music reach and transform many people in his city and beyond. He has written many songs for the church in his native language of Creole. He's excited to share several of these songs with the world in his self-titled debut album.
"Music is a big thing in Haiti," says Rivenson. "We try to gather people with music for Jesus Christ and to evangelize. This will be an open door ministry for the lost, and through our music we will be able to share the Gospel with the people of Haiti and establish new churches.
"All this kind of thing is just to win souls. That's the final goal. It's not anything else but to find and win souls for Jesus Christ. It's not just about people dancing or jumping, it's to expose them to the presence of God and to be attracted by the presence. New people coming to Jesus Christ - that's the final goal."
Rivenson's album is now available on iTunes. A Haitian tour is currently being planned following the release of the album, where we'll give thousands of albums away for free to the people of Haiti as a way to spread the Gospel message.
